Franciacorta is a hilly area located between Brescia and the most southern point of Lake Iseo. It includes 19 communes amongst which the small town of Iseo.
Franciacorta is synonymous with excellent wines, in fact in 1995, it was awarded the Controlled designation of origin.
The historic wine cellars, which are presently modern wine technology cathedrals, produce various types of Franciacorta (Millesimato, Rosé, Satèn, Riserva) as well as the still wines of Franciacorta: Curtefranca doc White and Red and Sebino Igt.
